Mobile Navigation Updates

We’re pleased to announce updates to the mobile navigation in Whippy, designed to improve usability and prepare for exciting new features.

  • New "More" Tab: Settings, Campaigns, and Sequences have been moved to a new More tab, streamlining access to less frequently used features and keeping your main navigation clean and simple.
  • Activity/Notifications: The Activity/Notification section is now conveniently located in the bottom navigation bar, giving you quick access to important updates and alerts.
  • New Keypad Tab (Beta): We’ve introduced a new Keypad tab in preparation for an upcoming feature, currently in beta. Stay tuned for more details as we continue to enhance this functionality.

Review Message Templates

We’re excited to introduce our new Review Templates feature, designed to simplify and standardize your review requests and responses.

  • Review Request Templates: Users can now create and save templates for requesting reviews, making it easier and faster to ask customers to leave feedback. These templates are readily accessible in the inbox for seamless communication.
  • Review Response Templates: Create and save templates for responding to customer reviews, ensuring your responses are timely and consistent. These templates can be accessed directly from the Reviews tab for quick replies.

This new feature helps streamline your review management process, allowing for more efficient requests and responses while maintaining a consistent tone and message across all customer interactions.

Scheduled Message Templates

We’re thrilled to announce the release of our new Scheduled Message Templates feature, designed to streamline message scheduling and automation for your team.

  • Pre-Schedule Your Message Templates: Users can now write message templates and pre-define a specific time or set the number of days in the future when the template should be sent. This simplifies future planning and ensures timely communication.
  • Automatic Message Scheduling: When you select a Scheduled Message Template, a scheduled message is automatically created based on the time and date settings defined in the template. No need to set reminders—Whippy takes care of it for you!

This new feature is perfect for ensuring that your messages are sent at the right time, allowing you to focus on other tasks while Whippy handles the scheduling.

Contact Segments Updates

We’re excited to introduce Segments, a powerful new feature in Whippy that replaces the old Groups functionality, offering more advanced filtering and organization options for your contacts.

  • Advanced Filtering for Contacts: Users can now create sophisticated filters over their contact lists, saving these dynamic filters as Segments. This allows for more precise segmentation and ensures that your contact lists are always up-to-date with the latest criteria.
  • Saved & Reusable Segments: Once created, Segments are saved and can be easily reused, helping you streamline workflows and enhance targeting in your campaigns and communications.
  • Segment Filtering: Quickly find the Segment you need by using the new filtering options, which enable you to search and sort through Segments for easier navigation.
  • Creator & Timestamp Tracking: You can now see who created each Segment and when it was created, promoting better team collaboration and management of Segments.

  • Advanced Filtering: Users can now filter the template table using AND/OR logic, allowing for more flexible and precise search results. Whether you're looking for templates by a specific creator, editor, or other criteria, this update makes it easier to find exactly what you need.

  • Emoji Restriction: Admins can now prevent users from including emojis in SMS messages. Emojis often increase message length and can lead to higher billing rates. This feature helps keep SMS communication more concise and cost-effective.
  • Message Length Limit: Admins can also set a maximum character length for SMS messages. By capping message size, you can avoid splitting messages into multiple segments, reducing overall SMS costs and maintaining clearer communication guidelines.
